The week's best individual score belongs to a loser

Caleb Williams scored 37.26, the best individual performance by any starter in the league. Bijan Robinson added 31.3. Between them, Griffin's Great Team's two stars scored 68.56 points, and the other seven starters treated that as permission to rest.

Those seven scored 42.6. Kyle Pitts Sr. scored 0.0 at tight end. Brandon Aubrey kicked for 2.0. The Texans defense scored -4.0, which means Griffin's Great Team started a defense that took points off its own board. Put the only two bench upgrades into the lineup and Griffin's Great Team scores 123.66 and still loses by 7.84. There was no lineup that won this. There was only a lineup that lost by less.

The winners, Remdawg and malika, deserve credit for 131.5 points and a few follow-up questions. Ja'Marr Chase scored 3.2. George Kittle scored 3.2. Rachaad White scored 4.7. Jahmyr Gibbs (33.6) and Christian Watson (32.7) scored 66.3 between them, more than half the team's total. Remdawg and malika is 1–0 because two players agreed to carry seven.

Griffin's Great Team's 111.16 would have beaten four teams this week, including Mac Attack, which won. That isn't consolation. That's a scheduling crime.
